Police: Woman in stable condition after York City shooting

York City Police are investigating a shooting Monday night that sent a 27-year-old woman to the hospital.

Police were dispatched just after 11 p.m. to reports of shots fired in the first block of North Broad Street.

There officers found the woman, who had been shot. A York City resident, she was taken to York Hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition, police said.

No arrests had been made as of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Officer Derek Hartman, the department’s spokesperson.
